The reason that North Amityville decided to purchase another set of Braun ambulances to replace their aging team is a reason we hear very often when dealing with clients who have used and experienced the Braun brand day to day.  They found outstanding value and service with the current Braun units they had and so decided to stick with what was working and purchase another 2 Braun ambulances to replace their older ones.  They also had a great experience working with Nassau Fire Apparatus as well.

Nassau Fire Apparatus wants to congratulate the Town of Highlands Volunteer Ambulance Corps. on their new ambulance! Doug Fisher, Northeast Regional Salesman at Nassau Fire Apparatus, delivered a 2011 Marque Brigadier ambulance to the corp on February 16th.

The Town of Highlands Volunteer Ambulance Corps. is located in Highland Falls, New York. It has been in service since 1953 as a Basic Life Support provider and has 30 members. Under the leadership of Captain William Stroppel, they operate two fully equipped ambulances 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Responding to over 500 calls a year within the Town of Highlands, they also provide mutual aid to neighboring communities.

The 2011 Type III 170 Brigadier ambulance from Marque replaced a 1995 PL Custom Ambulance that they traded in to Nassau Fire Apparatus. The Town of Highlands Volunteer Ambulance Corps. liked the fact that the 2011 Brigadier ambulance could be delivered to them quickly using a 2009 stock chassis. The use of that particular chassis also helped them to save money when purchasing the new ambulance, an important thing to look at when working with a volunteer based organization funded by tax payers. They also liked the sliding side door access on this emergency vehicle.
